My Story

My name is Taryn Haldeman. I am currently a graduate student working on my MLIS at IU Indianapolis. I also currently work in a public library and hope to continue to do so after I have received my degree.

I am extremely passionate in life about my hobbies, which include taking care of my cat, Bruce, as well as reading as many books as I can in all the different kinds of forms that I can get my hands on. This includes reading by audiobook format, as well as manga books. I am also super passionate about crochet and love to work on projects that I give to family and friends as gifts, although many want to pay. All I ask is that they cover the cost of yarn at most, since this is my passion and it gives me something to do.

When it comes to my partner, we love playing video games and board games together. I especially love playing co-op games with him since he is by far better at playing games then me. When it comes to playing competitively against each other, I think the percent of games that I lose to him is over 90%, but it still is something that we actively do together.

Overall, I am a super passionate person, and I am excited to take the next steps in life, wherever that may be. In the end, I am glad that I got to do everything that I have done, and I can’t wait to achieve more!
