THE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS HAVE MADE A TRADE
By sending two first round draft picks, and AD Mitchell, the Colts has recieved All – Pro Sauce Gaurdner from the New York Jets.
THE TIME HAS COME TO DRINK THE SAUCE!
Since entering the league as the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Gardner has built a résumé that already stacks up with the best in the game. He won Defensive Rookie of the Year, earned First-Team All-Pro honors in each of his first two seasons, and quickly became known for locking down top wide receivers.
For years, franchises have told their fans to “trust the process,” usually right before going 7–10. With Gardner, the Colts have upgraded to “trust the guy who already proved he’s elite.” Instead of endlessly debating which rookie corner might develop into a shutdown player, Indianapolis decided to skip the character-building arc and jump straight to the part where the defense has a star.
So when the next elite receiver rolls into town, fans at Lucas Oil Stadium can look down at the field, see No. 1 lining up across from him, and enjoy a new sensation: the quiet, smug confidence that at least one half of the passing game is already under control. The NFL may still be a quarterback’s league—but in Indianapolis, it just became a Sauce world, and everyone else is running shorter routes out of respect.
